I dreamed of Zinfandel, on a cool summer’s eve, sitting with friends and family sipping Zinfandel on mis-matched chairs next to a fire. On the fire was grilled summer veggies, Italian style and steak the American way. This wine is the work of many years of hard labour under the Paso Sun, each moment focused on the quest of a simple yeoman farmer’s dream. Red ------------- ---	2006 Zinfandel Lot Seven Appellation: Paso Robles Winemaker: Steve Christian This Zinfandel is from a small block that was planted in 1980 with a clone unique to Paso Robles. It received the moniker of UberZin from all the grief that it has given us in making the wine. After many harvests, we have been able to restrain, yet not tame, this thoroughbred. It exhibits an austere, sophisticated character while giving the spice and fruitiness that is Zinfandel. 90 cases produced Question?
