Our Tasting Room is OPEN Seven days a week: 10:00 am - 4:30 pm. Envy invites you to our tasting room in Calistoga by the Old Faith Geyser, where you can enjoy a variety of white and red wines in our friendly casual atmosphere. Veteran Napa winemaker, Nils Venge, teams up with vintner Mark Carter, to bring you a little slice of wine country heaven, Napa Valley's Envy Estate Winery. From the outside, you may think you're sitting on a Tuscan terrace. We encourage you to sit and savor a bottle of our wine with your own picnic lunch on our patio. Our peaceful outdoor setting is perfect for relaxing. There's even a view of Old Faithful Geyser from our backyard. Or, slip inside the cool tasting room, and let the sultry tango music enlighten your senses while our wines inspire your palate.

Winemaker Nils Venge
|
Nils Venge has had a fabulous career in the wine industry, creating classic, award-winning wines for three decades. In fact Robert Parker, Jr. gave Nil's Groth Vineyards and Winery 1985 Reserve Cabernet a perfect score of '100' establishing Nils as a fantastic and talented winemaker early in his career. He continues the tradition for Carter Cellars, as Wine Spectator Magazine has recently recognized this wine as one of the top 10 best up and coming Cabernets in California and top wines to buy as well.
