Like a sun-kissed blond running down the beach, this wine conjures up thoughts of summer flings and sweet honey finishes. With a nose full of apricots, peaches and pears there is no denying that this is a true Rhone style Viognier. The 2007 Viognier, Santa Barbara County has our classic full mouth feel and a clean, lingering finish. Continuing our string of great Viognier vintages, this wine has great acidity and correct varietal aromatics. It combines the fruit from two vineyards: Stolpman Vineyard fruit (25%) provided a lighter, floral-peach, mineral element to the wine. Bien Nacido Vineyard fruit (75%) adds body, glycerin, acid, and a burst of tropical and peach aromas. It was fermented in neutral, French barrels.

Delicious fruity wine from the "R" clone of Viognier. Highlighted by stone fruit flavors like Apricot and Peach. Short term barrel aging in 40 percent new American oak adds reachness to this wine. Dry, not one of those sweet Viogniers.
