Just saying the word "Sangiovese" conjures up thoughts of the wonderfully fruity Chianti wines produced in the Tuscany region of Italy. Our 2009 Sangiovese Reserva is the best of the best. You will find this wine reminiscent of fine Italian wines from Montepulciano. Sweet-cherry with vanilla, tobacco, white pepper and smoke aromas spark your interest. Strawberry jam, hints of oak and espresso with an amazing presence of sage on the finish make this wine an absolute stunner. Barrel aged 36 months. Limited bottling. Shows best now thru 2020.
