  • Something very special. Harvested on Sept. 29, 2004 from Kiona's North Block Vineyard on Red Mountain, The 2004 Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon was a well balanced wine from the grape to the bottle. Aromas of Raspberry, Black Cherries and Black Currants, displaying layers of dark chocolate, and cigar smoke showing a complexity of terroir only found in the Red Mountain AVA. A Big Red to be paired with Prime Rib, T-Bone or King Salmon.

  • This elegant, well-balanced Cabernet is showing a lush fruity nose with notes of blackberry, cassis, pomegranate and undertones of cumin and coriander. On the mouth, the wine has a velvety entry with notes of cherry and faint nutmeg and mocha/cocoa flavors and a lingering finish with ripe boysenberry notes. Our wine pairs wonderfully with beef short ribs, a juicy barbequed beef flat iron or roast pork tenderloin.

The blend of the Cabernet Merlot is 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot and a 5% splash of Syrah, with all the fruit sourced from Kestrel View Estates.
