For the 2007 Vintage Mother Nature did not grace us with the cold temperatures early enough to make an Ice Wine but with a temperature of 21° Fahrenheit at harvest this Late Harvest Semillon does offer some characteristics found in Ice Wine. The 2007 Semillon is a dry white wine that fills the nose with blissful tropocal fruits. Pineapple, mango, and citrus harmonize with a palate of honeyed grapefruit and buttery undertones. Overall, it is a soft wine with lingering peach and citrus characteristics. Stainless steel fermented and aged to hold its big fruit character, this wine is perfect to open now and will age well through 2012. Semillon is the only white wine we produce.
