The nose, ripe and forward, is an aromatic blend of violets, cassis, and black cherry. A complex palate starts with cassis, then warming to plumy cherry and blueberry fruit. The finish continues the interplay of the fruit and terroir, framed in by notes of toasted almonds and vanilla bean. A wine that boasts of tremendous balance and attentive winemaking.

  • Walldeaux is a non-vintage blend for more consistency and desity. Blending vintages allows a full tasting experience with complex layers from the "mature" vintages, combining with fruity, youthful and juicy mouth filling flavors from the "younger" vintages. This wine is bold and juicy with a firm structure. The full flavors and smooth tannins suggest a new-world wine while its focus and balance, dark fruit and spice flavors are definitely reminiscent of old world Bordeaux.
