  • Our 2004 selection of Merlot is an exceptionally beautiful creature. The color is inky crimson-purple. In the aroma and on the palate there are multiple layers of ripe black cherry, blackberry, black raspberry, dried blueberry, plum, fig and fresh red raspberry. The wine has a luscious quality about it, it is full bodied, complex, and boasts a lingering finish. It will most certainly leave you wanting more.

  • We are also very partial to our 2005 Columbia Valley Merlot. It is an excellent right-bank Bordeaux styled wine (86% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc) that reflects the personality of the vintage. Hints of lavender, smoky meat, Asian spices, and minerals enhance the black and cherry fruit. Big and seamless, this wonderfully balanced wine should mature around 2011 and age gracefully for 20 years or longer.

  • Walldeaux is a non-vintage blend for more consistency and desity. Blending vintages allows a full tasting experience with complex layers from the "mature" vintages, combining with fruity, youthful and juicy mouth filling flavors from the "younger" vintages. This wine is bold and juicy with a firm structure. The full flavors and smooth tannins suggest a new-world wine while its focus and balance, dark fruit and spice flavors are definitely reminiscent of old world Bordeaux.
