In the aroma you will find the distinct contribution from the Viognier’s floral element in hints of violet, lavender, and clove. Under the floral perfume, dark ripe fruits such as blackberry, black cherries, cassis, and plum are perfectly balanced by toasted oak and mocha.   • The wine is a blend of mostly Syrah, but there are a few other varieties blended in to coax out every nuance possible. As always, the color is inky purple. In the aroma and on the palate you will find an abundance of ripe fruit flavors such as black currant, dark cherry, blackberry, leather, spice, white pepper, and an enchanting floral element. Thisis a full bodied wine with a lingering finish. The structure is balanced and complex.
