This two-time gold medal winning wine opens with aromas of raspberry, oak and smoke mingled with black cherry. On the palate a hint of caramel gives way to coffee and white pepper with good dark fruit notes. Containing a nice complexity with a medium body and soft acidity this wine is a food friendly offering as well as being very pleasant on its own. The smooth finish is dark toffee mixed with a bit of cranberry and plum. This is truly an easy drinking, crowd-pleasing wine.
